About Us

Southside Independent School District is a public school district located in southern Bexar County, Texas (USA). It serves the far south side of San Antonio, Texas. The district was created to address the physical and intellectual needs of a growing student population in the Southside Community.

The Southside ISD consists of 8 schools serving more than 5, 600 students and 800 employees and approximately 400 teachers. Southside ISD has a Board of Managers.
