Description

A son of Mexican immigrants, Domingo Garcia, is a self-made success earning his way to the Statehouse of Texas as an elected lawmaker, and subsequently becoming the youngest Mayor Pro-Tem of Dallas. He’s worked to protect young, undocumented immigrant students known as “Dreamers” as an author of Texas’ laws, making Texas the first state in the nation to protect immigrant students (This is a virtual event via Zoom).
