CAR Kit & Equipment Sponsorship Opportunities
Alamo City Electrathon (ACE) is more than a race—it’s a year-long learning experience. While students compete on race day, the real impact happens as they design, build, and test electric vehicles throughout the school year.
CAR Kit and Equipment Sponsorships help schools access essential materials like EV kits, batteries, helmets, and safety gear, ensuring students can fully participate while gaining hands-on experience in STEM, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Your support expands access for more schools, offsets critical equipment costs, strengthens year-round STEM learning, and helps build the next generation of innovators across South Texas—long after race day ends.
School Car Kit Sponsor — $7,000.00
Provides a complete ACE Car Kit to support a school’s participation in the Alamo City Electrathon program and establish or sustain a student racing team.
Your support may include:
- One complete “Crate” Car Kit (plus shipping)
- Batteries (Interstate DCM0035 or equivalent)
- Two battery chargers
- Spare tires and tubes
- Full-face, DOT-approved helmets
- Teacher stipend support
- Student club meeting hospitality
- Educational workshops and technical support
Important Note: Schools must apply for Car Kits. Applications are reviewed, and kits are awarded based on program readiness, demonstrated need, and capacity. Car Kits supported by this sponsorship will be awarded in Summer 2027.
Teacher Stipend Sponsor — $1,000
Supports the educators who make ACE possible by recognizing the time and commitment required outside the classroom. Your support provides a stipend to offset teacher time for after-school meetings, race preparation, and student mentorship.
Teacher stipends are awarded based on program participation and eligibility.
