DESCRIPTION:8th Annual Alamo City Electrathon (ACE)\n\nThe mission of the Alamo City Electrathon (ACE) is to foster and encourage partnerships between educational institutions and industry partners. The ACE Invitational was created as an academic opportunity for student programs in high school and community colleges. Our vision is to generate excitement and awareness of vocational opportunities associated with Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Math (STEM). By offering students in our region a real-world\, hands-on learning experience like no other\, we are bringing STEM home to the future workforce of America.\n\nThe inception of the Alamo City Electrathon (ACE) Invitational dates to 2017\, with the primary objective of introducing STEAM activities to the South Texas region\, thereby emphasizing the practical relevance of STEAM education.\n\nThe ACE Race is an annual one-day event where high school students design\, build\, and race electric cars they've created during the school year. Teams compete on a closed-loop course\, racing for 60 minutes to complete as many laps as possible in two heats. The event challenges students to balance speed and energy efficiency while showcasing their engineering and problem-solving skills.\n\nAs we prepare for the ACE 2026\, we extend an invitation for sponsorship at various levels\, encouraging monetary and in-kind donations.
