Description
The Guadalupe Dance Academy and Company present a fun representation of the traditional Shepherds Play with a folklorico and flamenco flair called Fiesta De Navidad, La Pastorela Folkloria on Friday & Saturday, December 16 & 17, 2016. La Pastorela Folklorica, written by Hiedi Cabral, highlights the Guadalupe Dance Academy performing beautiful traditional Mexican Folklorico and Flamenco music and dance throughout the evening. Guadalupe Dance Company members play the traditional characters of Mary, Joseph, Lucifer and the archangel while the Academy’s youngest performers play the parts of townspeople and shepherds. Admission is $10 and is open to the public.
