SUMMARY:URBAN-15's Open Call for Dancers\, Drummers\, and Volunteers
DESCRIPTION:Carnaval de San Anto\, URBAN-15's original\, award-winning\, multi-generational community drum and dance ensemble\, is looking for new and enthusiastic dancers\, drummers\, and volunteers to help bring the energy to San Antonio as they gear up for their 25th consecutive appearance in the Fiesta Flambeau Parade and their 2012/2013 performance season!  Open Call sessions\, which will teach participants the rhythms and movements necessary to join the ensemble\, will begin on Sunday\, October 9th and continue every Sunday from 3:30 to 5 pm until November 13th when auditions will occur. Each class will cost $5\, and each participant is required to pay a one-time $5 registration fee. Dancers are asked to wear comfortable\, loose clothing and wear soft soled dance shoes (or be prepared to dance barefoot). Drummers are asked to bring their own pair of drumsticks and mallets.  In October\, the road to Fiesta begins!
