DESCRIPTION:The San Antonio Business Journal joins 39 other ACBJ outlets across the country to celebrate BizWomen Mentoring Monday\, the first event of its kind and\, hopefully\, the beginning of an annual tradition that brings women together in a casual\, fast-paced coaching atmosphere.\n\nThe date is April 7\, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Pearl Stable.\n\n \n\nThis year's national keynote speaker will be Lori Greiner - queen of QVC and shark on Shark Tank. This will be broadcasted at the beginning of each BizWomen Mentoring Monday event in every market.\n\nWe are inviting 40 top women leaders to participate in a "speed coaching" event. Each conversation will last 5 minutes. The coaching program takes an hour so each attendee should talk with about 7 women.\n\n \n\nAs I said\, this is a national event taking place in 40 markets on the same day which means we expect at least 200 women to be coached in every market or 8\,000 women across America\, from Albany to Hawaii! That's a statement we're proud to make\, especially as it kicks off a new BizWomen website designed especially for women.\n\n \n\nBizWomen features news and features for women in the workplace. Research shows today's working women represent the most dynamic demographic in quantitative dollar terms whether it's in their personal decision-making or through their professional spheres of influence.  We not only want to know women leaders\; we want to introduce them to each other. Some of those introductions will be made through coverage on the website\; others\, like Mentoring Monday will take place in person.
