SoTx Announces 2023 Board Chair, Blaine Lopez
Term from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023
 
(San Antonio, Texas)- The South Texas Business Partnership (SoTx) announces the appointment of Blaine Lopez, Partner of KFW Engineers + Surveying as the 2023 Chair of the South Texas Business Partnership Board of Directors. The 2023 Board will be comprised of 33 individuals from area organizations representing a wide range of industries.
“As we move into the second year as SoTx, we continue to strengthen our role and mission as the collective voice of not only South San Antonio, but the entire South Texas Region.” Connie Gonzalez, 2022 SoTx Board Chairwoman. “Blaine’s experience in land development across Texas puts him at a unique advantage in leveraging our shared assets and chart a path forward in the coming years and decades.”
Blaine, Partner of KFW Engineers & Surveying (who recently joined Colliers Engineering & Design in March of this year), joined KFW In 2007 by leading the company's Residential and Surveying teams. Blaine is a proud Aggie Alumni who graduated with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. Blaine previously served as Vice Chair at the West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, which merged with the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce in 2021. He is also a Helotes resident where he serves as the President of the Helotes Economic Development Corporation.

The South Texas Business Partnership includes 450 members representing micro to large businesses.
