The university will host a celebration of Native American art\, in addition to performances by a local popular Mariachi group. This Mariachi group is special to our A&M-SA family as it has a former A&M-SA student as a key musician. A Native American recitation will be performed on campus near the historical marker\, and the showcase of art will include a large\, signature of Native American feather surrounded by a traditional Medicine Wheel by local artist and local architect\, Ricky Reyes.
