DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends of the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce\, \n\n\n\nThis is the heartfelt message of the movie WONDER and the message we are asking community leaders and business owners of San Antonio to share as we participate in the WONDER #ChooseKind City initiative. Based on the New York Times best-seller\, WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August "Auggie" Pullman\; a boy with facial differences who enters fifth grade\, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time. The film will be released November 17\, 2017 only a few days after World Kindness Day\, a global celebration of kindness.\n\n\n\nAs part of my goals to bring more health and wellness initiatives to our south side communities\, the South Chamber of Commerce will host a special screening of WONDER on Sunday\, November 19\, 2017 at City Base Cinema. We anticipate hosting over 200 attendees\, providing the perfect opportunity to bring together San Antonio's community and business leaders\, and our guests of honor\, children living with disabilities. As for the #ChooseKind campaign\, Mayors from across the nation were invited to participate by joining this initiative. Mayor Ron Nirenberg has accepted this invitation and is designating San Antonio as a #ChooseKind city and our screening as an official event. We are excited to spread the message of inclusion and compassion and we invite you to join us in our efforts!\n\n\n\nEnclosed you will find a summary of sponsorship opportunities available\, we kindly ask that you consider a level of participation. We know this event will make a lasting impact on all those attending and we sincerely appreciate your support.
